Story Map

In the aftermath of the assassins' attack, Secundus's medicine carries the party to Brundisium in 19 BCE, where the dying Vergil descends from his ship and demands that the Aeneid be burned. Sinistrus is unmasked as the innkeeper, and the interrogation of Salvia unfolds at the poet's deathbed alongside a letter written under pressure. Back in Rome (83 CE), Gaius devises a counterintuitive plan and the party scouts infiltration routes across the city, assembling disguises for a move on the Palatine.

How to read the maps

Each box is one scene (one static story page). Green = standard scene · Blue = convergence / key node · Pink = fail / redirect (dashed pink arrows loop the reader back) · Yellow = special or graded gate · Grey = meta / optional. Solid arrows are forward story choices; labels on arrows paraphrase the choice.
