Story Map

On election day in the Roman Forum (83 CE), the finale converges at the Arch of Titus, where the antagonist reveals the full scheme, Secundus is killed, and the emperor Domitian arrives to judge the confrontation. Salvia intervenes and long-hidden truths surface as the Signifer is set on the arch's keystone and time itself stops on the player's answer to the central question of what the Lapis is. The story closes with reunions, an altered account of Augustus's deeds, and open prompts inviting each player to interpret the Lapis and write their own epilogue as time resumes.
