Story Map¶
Near the Theatre of Pompey (83 CE) the party is extracted into a frozen tableau of Nero's palace in 65 CE, the Pisonian conspiracy against the emperor, where they work the plot and probe the philosopher Seneca. Salvia, present in the stopped time, out-thinks the conspirators station by station and seizes control of the questioning herself, turning the tables so that she interrogates the players. This inversion becomes the emotional and grammatical climax of the block before the party is returned to the villa in 83 CE.
How to read the maps
Each box is one scene (one static story page). Green = standard scene · Blue = convergence / key node · Pink = fail / redirect (dashed pink arrows loop the reader back) · Yellow = special or graded gate · Grey = meta / optional. Solid arrows are forward story choices; labels on arrows paraphrase the choice.
